I was very busy doing "holiday time rehab" because in December I tore my shoulder A/C joint doing handstands (and falling over on to the point of my shoulder)….silly season it is ;)
I’m back to overhead press and chin ups again so we’re getting there.. really helps focus the mind when you have strong pain doesn’t it?
What were you grateful for in 2017? Have you made a list? To be honest, parts of my 2017 were so complex I actually don’t know how to be grateful for them…yet. Using my imagination on those ones - trying to see those painful events that I didn’t choose from different (and perhaps higher?) perspectives.
Until I get the “aaaaah” moment! Then I see why it needed to happen.
And why other things needed to happen, still seem a mystery. No doubt they will be revealed in time if I can keep my heart open?
aaaaanyway…we are going to get more practical with Gym Junkie’s Elbows and some videos on Flexibility Assessments next week (my own take from some lateral thinking I did recently ;) then some Myofascial Release, Passive Stretching Protocols, and then retraining drills as the weeks flow into February and March. All stuff I do on my own still slightly grumpy elbow (it takes forever doesn’t it?).
